The Vulpi Drop Dog Latch is a rugged, vehicle-mounted release mechanism designed to securely hold your dog until activated via the Drop Dog Control Box + remote.

Engineered for repeated use in tough Australian conditions.

Included With Every Drop Dog Latch

✔ 1 x Drop Dog heavy-duty steel latch
✔ 1 x 1m double braided rope
✔ Backing plate and mounting screws
✔ Metal ring (optional use)

How It Works

The latch mounts securely to your vehivled tray or headboard using the supplied backing plate and screws.

One end of the double braided rope must be tied to your vehicle headboard, close to the Drop Dog latch. The other end of the rope runs through your dog’s collar ring and connects to the latch mechanism (with or without the metal ring, depending on user preference).

When activated via the Control Box remote, the latch releases instantly.
